The dagger is a traditional symbol of the special operations community, and, integrated into the bison head, it serves as an acknowledgement of the various special operations units that Project Hometown recruited from.

The single star represents the one state to which each coordinator is assigned.

In the background is the castle, which symbolizes strength, protection, and security--a true representation of the Project Hometown motto and overall goal of every Coordinator: Rescue and Rebuild.
